These are the bullets I have tried so far.

Hornady 210gr JHP, 1.575 oal, H110 powder...will not chamber fully.

Sierra 220gr FPJ, 1.565 oal, H110 powder...functioned flawlessly...no longer available from Sierra.

Remington 200gr SJHP bulk, 1.580 oal, Alliant 2400 powder...functioned flawlessly...needs a custom seater plug, the soft nose deforms too easily.

Sierra 210gr JHC, 1.575 oal, H110 powder, functioned flawlessy, excellent accuracy.

Remington 210gr JSP bulk, 1.575 oal, H110 powder...will not chamber fully.

My Desert Eagle prefers the tuncated cone shape of the Sierra bullets and the smaller meplat of the 200gr Remington SJHP.

The wide profile and large meplat of the Hornady 210gr JHP and Remington 210gr JSP would hang up going into the chamber and not allow the bolt to close 2 to 3 times per magazine full.

Thanks for the info!

Have you tried AA # 9?

#9 runs flawless with 100% of my loads.

I have tried Blue Dot, 110, and 2400 and all have been hit and miss depending on bullet weight.

I wanted to try AA#9 but have been unable to obtain any locally.
Both the Hornady 210JHP and Remington 210 JSP would hang up chambering them manually too.
It's a moot point with the Hornady as that bullet syle has beeen discontinued.
The Remington 210 JSP though, is one of the least expensive jacketed .410 bullets available, so it would be nice to get that one to work.
I still have 150 of the Sierra 220 FPJ and 1450 Sierra JHC left so I'm good for a little while.

I tried several different powders, and was successfull for a little while.

After ruining my pistol, I now stick with # 9.

My bbl went bad, I started having FTF, FTE every two or so rounds.

Come to find out, I eroded and enlarged the gas port in the Barrel.

MR recommended that I use # 9 only for handloads.

Right now.. I have three or four thousand rounds bettween three pisols, no problems at all.
