Looks like the 50AE barrel is sold. All i have left is the 357 10" hunting barrel

Mailed the bank check to Lester today for the 10" bbl.

Found a lightly used 8 3/8 S&W 500 today. May buy just to say I have something bigger than the .50 AE. That S&W is the largest firearm I have ever handled. Cartridges as big as chapsticks. Fortunately I reload so I'd load them down. I dunno about 44g of H110.......unbelievable.

It's marked $899 but they always deal with me. Very lightly used. It's not even cleaned. Original owner probably bought the thing and a box of 20 cartridges. Fired a couple and couldn't take it. Used 500's aren't usually beat to crap. Like the DE it's a must have, at least to me, since I have more money than brains.

I'm ordering the dies and will call the dealer to put the 500 on hold for me tomorrow.

The DE will fit on an 8.5x11 piece of paper. This one won't.

Of course each round is about the size of a AA battery. Reloading stuff due on my doorstep tomorrow. Then the fun begins. Have a feeling the DE was just a warmup for this one. DE is easier to carry though.

Receipt of funds confirmed by Lester! 10" bbl will be here next week. I'll post photos of that too. Should fit in my holster since it has an open muzzle, much like The Rodentwoman.

10" barrel received, cleaned up a bit in the chamber area and mounted. Impressive to say the least. Range trip Saturday along with the S&W 500.
