What is the best Holster for a Desert Eagle

People will have different opinions on what type of holster is best but I have no clue so I thought I would seek the opionions of you guys.

As the Desert Eagle is so badass im finding it hard to find a decent holster.
I am thinking about a thigh holster but what I really like the look of are cross draw shoulder holster jackets like this:

BUT, I cant seem to find one with a standard holster that will fit a Desert Eagle so I will probably go for a thigh holster.
What do you guys think?

I've got a leather belt holster made by Gould & Goodrich for my Desert Eagle. The product code for it is DEP2539. I'm not sure if it's even being made anymore. I got lucky and found one sitting on the shelf at one of the local gun shops I go to. Blade Tech (www.blade-tech.com) makes a few different holsters for the Desert Eagle as well...I prefer hip holsters but I'm also a big guy so it doesn't really bother me too much...Plus with a good belt it'll hold up nicely...I've been kicking around the idea of getting a thigh holster...Not to sure about their quality, but if you go on eBay and search for "Desert Eagle Holster" a lot of stuff comes up that's fairly inexpensive....I heard someone on another forum say that stuff isn't too bad...I'm only repeating what I heard...Don't know for sure.

Leather one sounds nice couldnt find it but I think im looking for something either black or camo, black to match the pistol or camo to match the camo shorts I always seem to wear ha.
Cool, thank you for the info, just checked out the ebay search. I think I might see what a thigh holster is like, some on the ebay search also had a strap that then goes up the leg and attaches to a belt for extra support.
I'll keep thinking about it and having a look around but I probably will go for a thigh holster, if I do I'll let you know how it works out for me.

Yeah....I like my black leather holster....my gun is black too and matches all my clothes....Some of the leather holsters on the Magnum Research page are pretty good too.....Either way good luck....I'm half tempted to have someone custom make me another holster for it. :-)
